ESPN channeling Scouts, Inc. just released an article looking back on the 2005 draft. Not surprisingly, Denver scores a C- for their efforts. Williams, Foxworth, and Myers all came out of this draft. Had it not been for the tragic shooting of Darrent Williams, I think we'd fare a little better. The selection of Maurice Clarett in the supplemental draft obviously influences this decision.
We certainly followed up with an A+ draft. The following year brought us Cutler, Marshall, Sheffler, Kuper, and Dumervil. Talk about a home run...
