Broncos a No-Show for Otah's Workout
Denver was not among the teams present for OT Jeff Otah's workout today. According to Pro Football Weekly, Otah improved on some of his questionable combine scores with Kansas City, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Carolina standing court side. Given Chicago's apparent interest in drafting an offensive lineman, they could emerge as a trait suitor in the event that they want to leapfrog Carolina, who holds the pick separating the two.

Ah, that means they want him. Broncos traditionaly show little to no interest in players they are targeting so that someone else doesn't snag him.
There's no doubt that a lot of gamesmanship is involved in these things. I'm not at all convinced that Denver is targeting a tackle at #12, though.
I agree, OT any higher than the 3rd round isn't the Broncos style. Typically, OL and RB positions are late round picks.
If a DL doesn't drop to #12, I think they trade down. Then they've got more picks to go after Robertson.
I think Rounds 2-4 are home-run rounds for those rich with picks. Particularly when you look at some of the talent available in round 4. We could grab a pair of outstanding DT prospects. If Denver covets a guy like Guion or Rubin, I wouldn't have a problem moving a 4th and a 5th for a 3rd.
